@afneil This is what happens when actors don’t have script. He had actually blurted out that he wanted a particular black woman no longer to exist. His brain then triggered how bad that sounded. So he fell back on “I don’t wish her ill [he just had]” she should “just shut up”. Not really a great fallback. These actors should stick to memorising lines others write for them. Using their own is too often too embarrassing. He’d joins a long line and history of men who just want women to shut up. You’d think such Neolithic attitudes would have died out by now. Clearly not. The right-on captured audience even cheers him.
