The fact that Biden has the mental acuity of an asparagus does present a
challenge for Trump tonight. The expectations are so low for Biden that if he
manages to hold his own, he automatically wins. If the debate is a tie, Biden
wins. It’s like playing one-on-one basketball against a guy with no legs. If he
gets even one basket, he wins, even if he loses. So Trump needs to be
aggressive and go for the decisive victory. He can’t just coast and let this thing
be boring and uneventful. If that happens, Biden wins and Trump would have
been better off not debating. I think Trump will win, but those are the stakes.
