Fair Enough

The Leaders both MP's now
want Labour to speed up their green plan,
after Labour Ditched the £28Billion plan.

I think that was wise of PM Starmer
as funding is not going to be there.

I have no objections to the greens being in parliament, but they are kidding themselves if they think they are going to influence anything. The tories and lib dems will be lucky if they can influence anything

I also think that there are now some very strong personalties on the opposition benches that will be desperate to grab all the air time

It beats 'long streak of piss', which is what I really meant.

With the combination of factionalism on the increase, and both major parties favouring the middle ground, I wouldn't be surprised if come 2029 the "true voice" of the left is the Greens, and the right is Reform.

I felt Adrian Ramsay was poor in his last interview.
I just feel I can't relate to the Greens.

The other Green's co-leader however Carla Denyer really for some reason irritates me bigtime.

4 MPs was expected, certainly 3 were.
To be fair Caroline Lucas I always liked, none of these 4 Greens come up to her at all in my view .

Nigel Farage has been a prominent voice in politics for years, despite not being an MP. People sometimes overestimate the size of the Greens, because of all the noise that particular empty vessel has made.

Both of their voices being further legitimised in the Commons will only bolster their power. They'll build momentum, and by either the next election or the following, they'll be the main voices of their respective sides. Labour and the Tories will languish in the middle.

I bet dollars to donuts both parties will get defections from other parties, and might even reach ten MPs each by the next election.

She's very smug and up herself.

I also get strong Jack Monroe vibes from her. Which isn't particularly fair as Carla hasn't (to my knowledge) conned anyone or lied about her background. But there's just a "certain something."
