Interesting..

I thought we were brilliant for much of last night ( in comparison with previous games)

Yet online and in their own country/ media.. Holland are being slaughtered for “allowing“ England to play .. no pressure, no pressing, no shape ..

René Meulensteen reckons England can beat Spain if Southgate shows the courage of last night and let them play but if he returns to normal ( something everyone does in pressurised situations) and we sit deeper and deeper, encouraging pressure then we lose

Still all babies.

The future looks good with these guys. My only concern is, is this game too early for them or are they ready to deliver the goods now?

We certainly have the potential with these guys, anyone of Foden, Saka or Bellingham have the talent to be a match winner. Be a great achievement if they can do it at a young age.

We also have Kane, who is a proven match winner.

Guess it depends how much possession we get against Spain

Foden , Bellingham , Saka and Kane are nothing when we are sitting back , absorbing pressure whilst playing a
9:1 formation

it doesn't matter if the team would be better with kane not starting. He is the captain, it is the final, of course he will start, anyone saying anything else just doesn't get it

And is Talk sport where you get your football education from?

You do realise that they are there to talk any old drivel that will get you to tune in and keep you entertained?

I just know for a fact that barring any injury, then Kane will be leading that team out as captain on Sunday night. I know that, because I know football. And I don't need any media pundits to guide me.

I do listen to TalkSport ( like millions of others) plus pay subscriptions to Sky , TNT and Premier Sports ..

I’ve been a football obsessive all my life

We all know that Southgate will stubbornly start with Kane and the other ten because that’s how he is .. the fact is the vast majority of England fans want Southgate gone and also realise that Kane isn’t firing on all cylinders .

It seems that its just you and Gareth who are misguided

As regards you dissing TalkSport.. they purposely talk about topics/ subjects that are currently trending/popular with sports fans

You make zero sense.

We've achieved all of our objectives so far in this tournament doing it Southgate's way. If we'd have done it your way, we wouldn't have even qualified for the tournament.

You want to drop our leader and star man. That's the equivalent of Argentina dropping Messi or Portugal dropping Ronaldo. Just a ridiculous notion.

Well Messi never goes missing like Harry has for 7 or 8 games plus we have been crap with a capital C until the other night and even that tapered down in the second half …

There’s the two crap performances in the friendlies then all the woeful performances before Saturday ..all this against low rated competition !

We eventually beat Holland who are the equivalent of Southampton .

Not forgetting the wins were basically last minute flukes !
