people on here declare all sorts of news fake every day. The irony of course is that it was Trump himself who really popularised the "Fake News!" thing.

I find it a bit hard to take it seriously when the same people wringing their hands about Trump's ear and one dead member of the public (which is of course a tragedy for that person's friends and family, don't get me wrong) will happily shrug their shoulders about bombed out schools in the middle East, or have a good chuckle over Jay Slater memes.

Its selective, performative outrage and for whose benefit? No one is playing.
