We got to a final is one way of looking at it but once you get to the final dont you think its finally time to go for it. Thats the problem. Southgate doesnt see this. Its just more of the same in the final and hopefully, fingers crossed ,England can get over the line. You saw that again tonight.

I said it the other night after the semi-final, in this thread. Those quality players we have are still young and maybe this final was a bit to soon for them. Two years and four years on, those players are gonna be reaching their peak.

That means nothing. We didn't have De Bruyne or Haaland in our team. They're the big players for the teams you're talking about.

A great team will beat a team of great individuals and this Spain team have been the greatest team in this tournament.
