But it weren't Acid that was thrown at Farage, if it was then admittedly I would understand the comparison much more with Trump's situation.

And I do agree with you that nobody should really lose their life over Politics, unless they're a threat to society or the world at large.

If someone is able to milkshake a politician at an event, they could carry out an acid attack. That's what the comparison implies, anyway.

Hopefully security is tighter around Farage after that incident, in case someone does try to attack him with Acid in the future.

My point though is it weren't Acid that was thrown at Farage, it was Milkshake which imo is not the same as Donald Trump nearly getting assassinated.

And I am saying this as someone that prefers Farage as a Human Being.
