I used to engage plenty in tv/movurs/games/etc and even general and dare I say it chat & games was good fun from time to time. But as I said, the forum is trashed. It's been allowed to morph into something that, I can only imagine to a lay person stumbling across it in search of Big Brother chat, is utterly horrifying. Who would join this forum today?? I know I'm only here mostly out of habit/nostalgia and because I genuinely once loved it here. I can only imagine that's the same for most of the old members still holding on.

I'm irked at myself for not seeing it sooner, I'm irked at the Moderators for giving up (although I do 100% understand), but really I'm mainly annoyed at those-in-charge for, ultimately, prioritising and appeasing old-guard membership over having a balanced and functional forum.

I include myself in that - Parmy ain't wrong, I should have been infracted a hundred times over and had multiple bans in the past year. Frankly there are a handful of members who have said things that warrant lengthy bans and would have resulted in them a few years back. Something has changed, policy wise, no one can realistically deny that. Also doesn't go unnoticed that posts like this that mention these things get closed/locked/deleted much quicker than the fighting and insults .

Ahh heck maybe I'm too hard on LT - maybe his posts and threads really were always like this. There just used to be a better balance to drown him out a bit more.

Way way back in those ‘good ole days’ as Soldier Boy you were more or less just the same. There were always people in your sights to belittle and in general to show off how superior you are to the average dumbo.
Give over with the ‘LT and the state of this forum makes me do it’ victim cry.
