Financial position usually seems to trump other considerations when it comes to voting to be honest. It may SEEM like sexuality plays a role when it comes to LGBTQ voting, because the loudest LGBTQ voices are the youngest LGBTQ voices.

Basically... I know more-than-one settled, nearing-middle-age, married gay couples who are 100% Tory through and through.

They have no children or dependents and most of them work in finance. Of course they're Tories
