The Advert is definitely heavy handed in the way that it's going about it imo, and the acting is really comically bad for such a serious topic.

But I suppose to play Devil's Advocate, there are far more white men in the UK than any other race of men, so the odds of a white man being a sex offender in the UK is going to be more likely.

I think it depends more on the area ,rather than UK has a whole. As overall UK is very diverse , especially nowadays.

Some areas will be predominantly white , whilst other areas more
multi cultural.

That's a fair point.

I just would still imagine that white men would be the majority guilty party of sex crimes in the UK, but it probably is closer than I'm thinking in other parts of the country, compared to where I live which is a predominantly white area.

Well for e.g if we're talking London in chelsea or somewhere then yeah the culprit will likely be white .

Whereas Peckham there's more of a chance of him being from different backgrounds.

…it’s a good video imo because it’s showing what this thread has discussed and highlighted, which is that sexual harassment is a broad daylight and crowded space issue for women as well…and an harraser/attacker/threat can be any and every shape, size or skin colour…Sarah Everard was kidnapped and brutally murdered by a police officer …someone we all would have thought of as being a ‘person of safety’….the whole point that both vids are meant to be focusing on is women and their safety and not skin colour…

I agree with most of what you're saying.

I do think though that the second video making every predator to be a white person is a bit OTT, but in the grand scheme of things the bigger focus should be on the sexual harassment issues that are happening in this country.

Especially with cases like Sarah Everard (like you've said yourself tbf,) that case always needs to be highlighted on how unsafe women actually are in some parts of the country.
