The Italian Job
|
We have , but it's not being addressed and that's very worrying.

The fact that the Southport stabber is not a new arrival, but a second-
generation immigrant, is worse It means assimilation efforts completely failed Born in Cardiff, brought up in Merseyside, and still derranged enough to stab a nursery full of children on a whim Despite over a decade of interactions with state institutions, he never developed a love for those "British values" we keep hearing about Just like the Parnell Square stabbings last year, where perpetrator Riad Bouchaker was an Algerian who lived in Ireland for twenty years, and stabbed three children and a school worker Today's Southport attack demonstrates the uncomfortable truth: that platitudes about diversity, or abundant opportunities to earn money in a gig economy, do not make good neighbours out of new arrivals or their children We have had too many examples now to pretend this is not the case. Too many children have died to continue to fear causing offence Every last foreign criminal must be sent home Every foreign benefits claimant must have their cash flow stopped No more must be let in, until we work out if we have admitted more monsters like this into our midst https://x.com/Con_Tomlinson/status/1818041187124789328 |

Kinda worrying that they feel that they have to immediately release a statement that specifically mentions his place of birth … It suggests that we are living in a powder keg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

…it feels as though it’s becoming a society of mob rule, tbh…social media was becoming crazy with false information and I imagine the police feel pressured to release information that they feel will calm the frenzy…

…those poor, poor families and all who witnessed any of it…
…we went for a walk yesterday evening and one of the things we pass is a child play area…which in this warm weather is always quite buzzing with children/families in the evenings…yesterday evening there was no one and it felt so marked in parents holding their children close within their home…lots of parents will be feeling that atm and I imagine lots of play/social commitments being cancelled… |

Nothing wrong with giving all the facts.
As that Police Chief lady was brief. |

…well, you weren’t confident of those ‘facts’ yourself, Arista…and lots of false information being fabricated about those ‘facts’ so I would say that it’s hugely questionable that there is ‘nothing wrong with it’ until the information is given …what’s that saying…?..a little information is a dangerous thing…?…that’s certainly true in our world today…

as it was out there it can be posted. But now the Daily Telegraph has given a proper update better than the brief Police. |

…I’m not getting into this with you, Arista or playing this game …the attacker was a UK citizen/born in Wales and from early childhood was a local resident in the Southport area…the heritage of his parents or grand parents or great grandparents etc…has no bearing on his actions or this heinous attack…

But a lot of people who have committed terrorist crimes in here were actually born in the UK and that's a frightening fact.
