Starmer hasn't a clue what's going on in this country.

The ISSUES people have are mostly NOT FAR RIGHT.

I've never thought Starmer had much intelligence. He comes across as a robot. His three weeks as PM has been an utter disaster. I don't think Labour will last five years.

They've already lost the grey vote, taking away the heating allowance from pensioners, and Labour isn't building homes for the people born here, they're building homes for migrants.

Blaming the rioters is like seeing a flood and blaming the rain Joey. Social psychology is a complicated and eternally frustrating beast... especially when it comes to propaganda and civil unrest.

You could blame the councils or the police too but ultimately all of it has been underresourced and poorly managed from the top down. The current government has responded poorly, the previous government was part of creating the knife edge that allows things like this to happen, but ultimately it's successive govts from all sides going back decades. And various other social factors that could never have been foreseen. I dunno. There's an element of inevitability about all of this - that's the truly scary thing.
