Speaking to this, among other things, it's not a good thing we have entered the phase of praising politicians for chastising the voter. We are not meant to become sycophants or serfs. It's unacceptable from any candidate for public office. Their job is to listen to the voter, to speak to the voter's concerns and nothing else. It is not for us to "be good" for them or be "taught" how to treat our leaders or even told by their crazy supporters how to speak to them. Otherwise we become subjects in our own country. I understand they are being mocked mercilessly, but guess what... they signed up for this ridiculous work. If they can't handle that, move on.

I say this knowing it'll bear no fruit, because it's become clear that the most political of our society, speaking to our citizenry, seem completely keen to become subjects. So much so they're parroting their leaders and not leaving any room for more practical perspectives to "infiltrate" their "movements". There is being competitive, sure, but then we have others that literally believe Trump was sent by God directly to "save" the country. The Democrats are a secular party, by comparison, but that doesn't make their supporters anymore immune to drinking the Koolaid.
