I don't really run into this problem but I thought it was funny...

It received a date of Monday and is comically asserting it is now running late... after being very late. It'll get here soon, though. Whatever "soon" ends up being.

…with your tales of the US postal service, I think it sounds as though ‘soon’ could be a very open ended interpretation…we know that soon isn’t Monday because you’ve already been told that it’s running late from the due date of Monday…Im thinking that soon isn’t Tuesday either because they didn’t state one day late, they just said late…so Tuesday can be crossed off as a possibility as well…maybe cross through the days that it isn’t or unlikely to be and then you’ll finally solve the mystery of when soon is…?……

The Internet connection on your ’phone working smoothly anywhere and everywhere but the warm comfort of your own home, and your WiFi’s down. Talk about bad luck.

Hopefully it's my mailbox this time. (There's a legitimate reason for why it gets misplaced though) I haven't watched in years (with what time?) but I go to a convention every year for Artist Alley. So I've no idea the current state of anime... I'm old enough to have downloaded new episodes subbed by volunteers through IRC channels full of Fserves... the current state of J-pop though... sigh... Hub watched Spy x Family though and keeps trying to force a thumbdrive with it at me to watch it... Edit: Rethinking, I do watch Cdrama, but it's an easier binge and sometimes mostly in longer clips. It's hard to follow anything with subtitles. Last edited by Maru; 19-09-2024 at 02:48 AM. |

Because even American Live Action has Shogun as an epic tale, and Fallout for that zany vibe that can be good in it's own way. Where as a lot of current Animes have the depth of a puddle. Having said that I haven't watched Spy x Family, but it does look like the kind of Anime that I'm kind of talking about being a negative for the industry imo.

I'll tell you what irritates my Dad, that advert with Slade... "We were a noisy generation..." He always shouts "When did Slade ever have a keyboard player?!"

Bait-announcements that there’s another vicious Covid variant about to do the rounds and no follow-up anywhere in the days to come, probably because it’s all nonsense at this point and they know it. Still trying to scare people nearly 5 years later.

Also if I hear about Oasis reuniting off Sky Sports one more time, I will smash my TV.
The channel is called Sky Sports News, not Sky Oasis News.

Santander’s over-protectiveness when it comes to wiring money across to people.
“You do know that you get impersonators pretending to be friends, family and companies, right.” I know but I’m also pretty sure I know the identity of this friend I borrowed or lent £20 to or fro(m) t’other day. Back off with the over-security.

Coffee-shops where everywhere’s either occupied or too dirty to sit. How does that work? What would Kim and Aggie say?
