Deny, Defend, Depose.

Doesn't look very warm. You need padding if you're going for warmth.

…like Gusto, I would also say a charity shop is a good call as you may get something of a much more long wearing quality for a great reasonable price…here’s a great coat story …I love this coat…
…Spoiler: British designer ‘over the moon’ after long-lost coat found in charity shop… A British fashion designer said she is “over the moon” that one of her long-lost designs was found in an Oxfam charity shop nearly 40 years after it went missing from the designer’s warehouse. When designer Jean Pallant was told her one-of-a-kind coat had turned up in a donation bag at the Oxfam shop in Mill Hill, London, she was “very excited,” she told the PA news agency. “I was absolutely over the moon, really. It was very sweet of the person who discovered it to believe that it was something important,” she said. “It’s like seeing a child. It’s lovely. I know every single square inch of it, and I’m absolutely amazed that it looks so new, and it feels new. Everything about it looks exactly as it did when it went missing.” …full article… https://uk.yahoo.com/news/british-de...133828681.html Last edited by Ammi; 29-09-2024 at 03:37 PM. |

…and yeah, charity shops are a great way clothing to have an extended life with different owners and also have many stories to tell their clothing lifetimes… …it’s a bit like a book that I once read called The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants with four girlfriends who pass around a secondhand pair of jeans and the differing stories of the jeans with each of the girls… …it’s just a great thing isn’t it, that an item can be just the perfect thing for many people through its own time on earth… …
