[Time to Sleigh]

For some reason I'm a lot more excited about this series of big brother than I was for the last one. I don't know if that's because I was a bit nervous last series before the launch about whether itv would be able to produce a good series. I think it's maybe because of the promo this time I'm seeing it advertised everywhere and every itv show I've watched the advert has been shown. But I am a lot more optimistic about this series and I have a feeling it may be better then last year. I quite liked last year too, yinrun Olivia and Jordan were great housemates, hoping for a better line up for this series though but I don't know I just have a better feeling about it. How about all of you?

Hopefully ITV will allow the contestants to be more interesting this series.

As long as they realize that BB shouldn't be censored, then it'll be an improvement just off of that realization.

While the first series of civi felt a bit safe and sanitised, CBB was a bit more exploitative and "tacky", almost at C5 levels at times.

Hopefully they find the right balance.

…we don’t really think so much about how excited the housemates must be at this stage…Im not sure when they begin their ‘isolation’ from friends and families but they must be so excited right now and counting down the hours……

Last year I was thrilled to have it back and a whole new House.

Launch night was a huge disappointment - didn't like any of the housemates.

But I stuck with it and really enjoyed the series. The Housemates turned out a lot better than I had feared and a good selection made the final. There were some fun tasks, a couple of silly arguments, a tiresome love triangle, the usual food disputes, etc.

So my expectations for this year are quite high. The novelty of the new studio/network/presenters has worn off. Can't wait to see who they put in.
