Don’t put someone up then dismiss it like you’re trying to play fair when it’s not fair. Just own it.

He was caught in a tough position though. Regardless of which option he chose he would have had to put someone up.

I think he was trying to be as fair as possible (in a lose/lose situation). He probs could have handled it better by saying to Martha when she’s ready to talk they’ll have a private discussion as to why he chose her, instead of announcing it publicly but BB wanted a reason to be announced so he had to say it out loud to everyone.
