My personal view is that, people should be taught at an early age that the freedoms we now enjoy were hard fought for and that people died in the pursuance of them. Singling out gay people who have been affected just marginalises them more. Are gay people not an integral part of society? Are they not as important? Why do they need to be treated as a separate part of society? Like Cherie said, why not one for women? And one for people with brown eyes? And a blue one maybe, for people who vote Tory.
