I think Marcello likes to flatter women in an attempt to make them feel good and that he sees himself as a bit of a charmer, but he doesn’t always recognise where it might be appropriate to draw the line.

The fact that Sarah has a close friendship with him, and seems to like him a lot - as it appears that many housemates do - makes me believe there must be a very positive side to him. I do think we’ve seen glimpses of that, but the main show seems to focus on the characterisation the producers have chosen to assign him and focus on.

same I think he doesn't like arguments and just likes to stay friends with people so was letting her down gently...also maybe a bit of gameplay involved so as not to upset her and get nominated. He was very kind to Segun as well when he was crying ...

…I’m glad that Ali openly diffused the moment…they all knew that Lily was very drunk and seeing Marcello stroking her hair/laying on the bed …just looked kinda creepy tbh…it’s good to break that moment for Marcello as well because it just didn’t look ok and that wouldn’t be a good look for him…

…she’d still be an adult when she wasn’t drunk, though…there is always a time and place and when she was so visibly drunk that we saw with the phone call and that housemates had commented on of Lily specifically …so there was for sure a level discomfort for me in watching that…

I really am starting to like Marcello...especially with the Segun thing last night..I started to think he could get to the final. The Lily thing did have me thinking he really doesn't need to be doing that.
However, because she behaves like a child she gets treated like a child...by pretty much all of them. I mean Ali is a lesbian and she is cuddling and stroking Lily's hair all the time...no one says a word about that..whats the difference
He did comfort her after she heard the chants and offered to cook her a pizza...stroking her hair when she's drunk..it is how you would treat a child. I really wish they wouldn't but maybe that's just what he was doing.
