Awhile back now I watched I Parry Everything, which was a decent Anime but nothing exceptional.
I've done the first 10 Seasons of South Park, which was absolutely fantastic. I've taken a break for now, but I will have to see what Cartman and Mr/Miss. Garrison are going to do next at some point in the future. ![]() And I've then tried Lockdown Zone: Lv. X, which was severely under-budgeted imo. The budget just kind of harmed everything bar the OP (which I did really like Lockdown Zone's OP tbf) but the dire budget killed the tension that the Anime was trying to build I thought. And the one that I've tried today but it didn't really excite me was Summer Time Rendering. Don't get me wrong there's a couple of interesting elements in the first three episodes, but it just wasn't for me. The pacing in particular was not to my personal taste, but the Ecchi was again not necessary in an Anime like this. I'm not even a prude ffs, but this Anime was forcing in sexual innuendo and other fan service content in a series that needs a more serious tone to it. And the character dynamics were kind of flat imo compared to the first few episodes of Steins;Gate or Erased.
