Instead I’m at home poorly after spending my weekend in bed with the flu. I’m absolutely heartbroken. Not ashamed to say I’ve sobbed my heart out basically all day. It would have been my first holiday abroad in about 17 years.

We booked it back in January and my whole year has basically been leading up to this - I’ve always wanted to go and now it’s been snatched from me at the last minute. Don’t know if I’ll be able to get any money back either and it wasn’t cheap.

….awwwww….I’m so, so sorry, LaLa….…there are no other words really that I can say that would ease that disappointment in any way or anything that you’re feeling right now….maybe you will get your money back and that would be something in planning a ‘dream’ trip somewhere else next year when you’re feeling up to it and are able to fully enjoy it…Lapland right now with how you’re feeling…just wouldn’t have that magic that you’ve been dreaming of……
