'tis just because of who makes it (MGM), most big shows air or stream in the UK almost immediately after (or even at the same time as) the US these days because they either have deals with the big streaming companies or with Sky.

From airs on MGM+ which is a premium channel in the US (i.e. you pay a sub, not on basic cable/satellite) but unlike say HBO (also a premium cable channel) with Game of Thrones/HotD, The Last Of Us etc. they don't have a longstanding link with a UK provider (HBO has been airing shows on Sky Atlantic for well over a decade).

Some similar shows you can get on places like Amazon as individual episodes for like £3 each but that really depends entirely on if the network that owns it has decided to sell it that way as well.
