I didn't say "he" I said "they" - the homeless - I'm asking if there were no homeless people or if there were a significantly fewer number of homeless people a year ago after nearly 15 years of non-Labour government.

The first part is just me being silly - obviously I know there weren't "none". I can't claim to know if the number was significantly lower or not. So I am asking; was it? If it was much lower before last June then yes I would say we could fairly blame the current bunch.

If not then it's a systemic failing that has nowt to do with the sitting government (other than all of them failing to address it).

Again though, addressing homelessness in any meaningful way requires social spending... not austerity... and the country simply hasn't shown an appetite for that. Or maybe we did show an appetite for it and that's why Labour was voted in. Unfortunately they've turned out to be a red herring.
