Dude really needs to come to Gateacre, come and see big, big houses. A good 60% of comments slagging Liverpool off come from people who’ve never been there and don’t know the city as a whole (or at all). Most self-respecting people have at least a little time for Liverpool.

I grew up in a Victorian terraced house in east London on a working class street and I still believe I could not have grown up amongst more decent, honest people. I am very proud of where I come from. I imagine both Manchester and Liverpool to have the same kinds of working class areas and people. You only ever hear about the bad people in these places.
