Ahh, the memories of cheap lighting, ashtrays snakebite and pernod.
A major leap from the 70s where I resisted to enter showaddywaddy and the memories of summer holidays, head out the car window down the Mwhatever singing along, when I could catch my breath!
One year, bout 76, my dad was renovating a holiday cottage for a friend of a friend from our home town and got a 2 week holiday in it whilst doing it. First day there, shorts on, and topless. Me being cocky on a dry stain Dyke(a real thing young mods) fell of into a bush of chest height nettles..
Wish it was thorns, so I could say I've had more pricks than usersince..but alas, it was just screaming and fever, and a stressful holiday.
