They used to go round with their detector vans and I guess it's possible at that time they could detect the old cathode ray valve TV, but it's pretty dubious. Now, they would have no idea if you were watching live TV or not

From what I've heard, the vans never existed... and they stopped advertising about the "vans" because new rules came in meaning they could no longer threaten with flat-out lies
