Disliking one lesbian doesn't mean you dislike all lesbians.

The way that I saw it is that he made an ill-judged joke on the assumption that JoJo would be thick-skinned enough to take it and probably give it back as a bit of fun smack-talking, but when JoJo crumbled he thought **** it and doubled down.

I actually do not think he is homophobic or transphobic at all.. He seems very liberal to me, in all honesty, but just '90s liberal' and not modern 'woke liberal'.

He just tried to joke like it was the 90s still and quickly found out that doesn't work on mainstream telly any more, especially among those that do understand the medium and the BB audience base..
