This Witch doesn't burn
|
I don't think Mickey was fooled, the fact that they thought he would be was more comical, I didn't see the need for the prank it was pretty childish, cringe is a good word for it

It's funny how the same people who bend over backwards to defend Mickey's "jokes" are now the ones claiming that he is being bullied by jokes.
![]() Mickey found it hilarious and was actually impressed by it, but dear snowflakes, please stop getting offended on his behalf. |

Nah, not bullying at all. Just a bit of fun.
I actually think he knew exactly what was going on and just chose to play into it... The man has taught in acting schools and been around actors for decades... He understands improv and what a skit is and, honestly, JoJo really was not that convincing ![]()

The argument seems to be that he's effectively intellectually disabled (I don't think thats the case but it's what's being argued here)? And if that's true then its production/ITV that would be to blame if he was in a situation like is being described. If he's vulnerable he shouldn't be in there.
I would say, to be fair, that it wouldn't be the first time they've put clearly vulnerable people in the house. But I don't think that's the case here. You can't let your overwhelming dislike of someone (JoJo) colour your assessment of every little thing. Last edited by user104658; 12-04-2025 at 11:15 AM. |

Just watching last night's show on catch up. What an excruciating cringe-fest.

I'm afraid she's correct, her and that guy off Byker Grove were iconic 3.30pm viewing, no ones ever done the lead-in to The Wild Thornberries like them and no one will ever come close.

I know! And Patsy weeping in the diary room because Mickey said she can't cook. Not even going into Trisha's whole Islamaphobia thing seconds after Fabricant said he was of Jewish extraction and she'd shouted OY!

Surely you’ve noticed that basically everything confuses him .. he’s not dissimilar to Ozzy Osbourne in that respect possibly worse He had to ask BB for assistance finding his way back from the diary room ffs |

In hindsight I should not have described the behaviour as BULLYING in the thread title as the vast majority are focusing on the word bullying..
What if I had described the incident as disrespectful or disagreeable or distasteful or even necessary given it was at the expense of a guy who barely knows what day it is … imagine it was your elderly, infirmed So now reconsider your posts / position without thinking of it as bullying |

Its not bullying...it was a bit mean imo. Its clear he struggles with issues, onset of dementia maybe or just taken too many whacks to the head. Its like watching the behaviour of the great Mohammad Ali in his later years. Personally I would not have done it...I would have felt like a mean girl but maybe she wants to be mean girl if she still harbours what he did the other day.
However, he took it really well and found it funny so fair play to him. |
