Its irrelevant. He is no longer a working royal. He does not even live in this country anymore. If you quit the job you lose the benefits. Because he is family he still gets entitlements but he cannot get that level of protection. Being born into it does not automatically give you that level of protection unless you dedicate yourself as a 'working' Royal.
Now I don' expect you to understand all of this as you don't even know what his title is being the son of a king.....
