It's part of a wider pattern of there always being "some reason" that the attacks on Palestine are completely fine/valid. This is the reason "this time" -- but there's always a reason, isn't there? Always a "Well, actually..." to morally justify bombing another school or hospital. Never once a thought of "You know maybe this actually was a bit too much". There will always be a "reason" not to listen, a "reason" that it's fine, a "Oh yeah well woddabout October 7th???" in response to any criticism.
