but it's crazy for him to expect that these 2 sworn enemies will make peace .... just like that.

In this case i think it's worked out better than expected for Trump so far. No doubt he will now take his bad mood out on the NATO members

His logic is very anime. An episode long fight around Iran where local main characters show off their individual super powers but everyone returns home safely after hours of cratering the nearby train station. Only to talk about the importance of friendship, hot girls and very hyper missiles.

He wants them to at least try cosplaying world peace. They might like it.
