I used to have one like that just up the road from me which was always handy. I don't have one where I live now but I could probably find one on my lunch break when I'm in the office. I also have a Scribbler near my office and I like their cards because they're always very loud and cheerful

But anyway I did find one amongst the rubbish earlier that I think will do so please nobody trouble yourselves further on my account

The “I’m not racist; I’ve got black friends, I’ve got Asian friends” trope. It might be coming from a genuinely innocent place but it’s on-the-nose stereotypical and also the sort of thing a covert racist would say, whether you individually are one or not.

I wouldn’t even class Southampton FC as a football-club, to be honest.

In-general the city is dead. My dad settled there for a while in the early ’70s but found no reason to stay when Liverpool was a-calling and had more of what he needed.

Chinwe Owoh’s boxed penchant for misery and crying, frumpy-mourner tropes. Impeccable actress in any case but I prefer her in movies like August Meeting and Point of No Return, where she’s allowed to be a bit more polished, refined and actually given space to be a character not defined by relentless mourning.
