Oh please. Buying a can of Coke and filling up your car doesn’t put you on par with someone working full-time and paying income tax, NI, and pension contributions.

Everyone pays VAT.
That includes asylum seekers every time they buy a snack with their £6.77 a day…
You’re not funding the economy by existing. You’re just doing what everyone else does, except pretending it’s some heroic act.

Anyone saying migrants are “milking” the system is ignoring this:
It’s not the people fleeing war zones who are profiting. It’s the contractors billing the taxpayer.

That’s the scam. Not the refugees.

In collusion with the government, stop the illegals and you stop the scams

You are still paying into the Exchequer..... lots of working people pay no income tax .... lets get real, lets stop pretending working some low paid job is keeping the country going

Let’s get something straight.
Nobody flees war zones, pays traffickers thousands, and risks drowning for a “four-poster bed in Blackpool.” That’s just the narrative that makes people like you feel better about being spiteful.

You saw some blokes sunbathing and decided they’ve got it made? Grow up.
They’re banned from working, trapped in limbo, surviving on scraps while the government hands billions to private hotel contractors. That’s your taxpayer money, lining the pockets of Serco and Clearsprings, not the migrants.

You’re not sharing facts. You’re vomiting propaganda.
You don’t care about the truth. You care about having someone beneath you to kick while you get by.

Here’s your reality check:
If you think risking your life on a dinghy to end up trapped in a grotty hotel with no rights is a “cushy number,” then maybe your standards are so low because you’ve been conditioned to expect nothing and blame everyone else.

You’re not oppressed by migrants.
You’re manipulated by elites who need you distracted while they rob you blind.

So no, you’re not stating facts.
What's the real scam? Please let us all in on this info you have

I don't just exist. That's offensive. I may not be a working person but I run a home, care for someone and all that comes with it, I've told you this. I pay council tax as well. Your post is derogatory to unemployed people in general. I hope for your sake you never suffer mental health issues and can't work. You'd see things differently then though.

They don't get less than 7 quid a day. Fgs.

Yes, everyone pays something. That includes asylum seekers when they buy anything. But let’s not kid ourselves, paying VAT on a Greggs pasty isn’t the same as funding public services through full-time income tax and NI.

I worked full time for years on end from leaving school until I became ill when mum died, I've paid into the system plenty. I haven't always been unemployed as you're implying. You don't know my flipping life story, you're being selective and insulting not just to me to anyone who.is unemployed as you clearly look down on us.

Paying council tax doesn’t make you an economic martyr, and it sure as hell doesn’t give you a free pass to sneer at desperate people in limbo.

If you’re upset about derogatory comments, maybe stop implying asylum seekers are living it up on sunbeds. That wasn’t compassion, that was contempt.

As for the money: asylum support is £6.77 a day. That’s from the government’s own website. Look it up instead of arguing with facts just because they don’t fit your narrative.

If you want to talk about empathy, start showing some.

Family Carers get 11.09 per day thats how much the government thinks of people who look after sick and disabled people ... 6.77 doesn't sound too bad when you have no bills to pay, the government walk all over the people off this country and have done for years now

They are allowed to work, tax free, as many hours as they want. And they get payments on top.of that. This is what 1000s are protesting about so strongly regularly, all across the country.

Better to ban the "counter"-protesters - I doubt the "residents" know who is who, and the masked shouty ones are more alarming and distressing than the mostly peaceful ones.

Every single thing you just said is false.

Asylum seekers are not allowed to work.
They can only apply to work after 12 months of waiting for a decision, and even then only in a restricted list of jobs, mostly ones that are already short-staffed. Most never get approval.

They do not work tax-free. If they work legally, they pay tax like everyone else. If they work illegally, they’re breaking the law, and risking deportation.

They do not get extra payments for working. They get £6.77 a day in support only if they aren’t working, because legally, the two can’t happen at once.

And as for your “thousands protesting”… sure, but people also protest vaccines, 5G, and lizard overlords. Protesting doesn’t magically make something true.

You’re not dealing in facts. You’re repeating stuff you’ve read in angry Facebook posts. Try doing five minutes of actual research before you come back with more nonsense.

But clearly what you’re reading is making a fool out of you because it’s not true. Nothing you’ve posted in here tonight is true. It’s a bit worrying.

Don't worry your head. I don't feel I'm a fool.

You might not feel it but you are seriously misinformed. Like I said. It’s worrying.

I don’t look down on anyone. I show zero respect for people who show me the same but that’s just me.
