She has a point tbf on some points (not about nobody turning up to her show). Why perform there during the Fringe festival?

Also I absolutely know air bnb landlords would have cancelled people’s fringe accommodation once they knew Oasis were there and then upped the prices for Oasis fans. That’s the trouble with Air bnb, there’s no real security with your booking.

Indeed - people who do air band b are not really the type of people who are not in it to make a fast buck now are they

Definitely, and they can make tidy money. Luckily, I’ve never faced the issue, but it’s quite common for the landlord to cancel the booking if they suddenly become aware of an event in the area they can make more money on. Which would be frustrating as a customer, but not a lot you can do.
