I've had shingles after catching chickenpox as a kid, and that's no fun either. It wipes out your energy and then you get blisters along nerve lines in the body

Yes … that’s what I had also !!


This was about 30 years ago

I’d had the doctor out and mentioned that we were moving house the next day ( we hired a van ) and I was planning on helping with the lifting ..

The next morning he returned to beg me to rest and not get involved - can you imagine that happening today when you have to wait 10 days for just a phone call !

There was only a friend and me to do the move so I ignored him and nearly killed myself in the process - my health took a serious dive for a few days
