UK economy and support 4,000 jobs across the UK

This is very good news. Imagine what would happen if this country returned to manufacturing, to building and making things to sell. Instead of selling all our best companies off to the highest bidder, having to buy stuff in and becoming a country of call centres and supermarkets.

I wish we could get a political party who was in favour of promoting/encouraging the country to start manufacturing ships and whatever plus subsidising farms /farmers to start growing produce again

How crazy that we have millions of acres of green, lush fields yet we import most of our fruit and vegetables ( often tasteless) and farms are apparently paid to not grow produce !!
