Go for it, i only bought it as my mum has it, mocked her as it was a cheap chocie for tele, but you do get a lot for your money! And it's just a one off payment when you buy it, mine was only £30. That was it! Plug your aerial into it and voila, get all ya channells, plus you get 24 hour coverage of Big Bro, E4 has loads of other programmes on it as well, but if you don't feel like watching friends or The OC, press ya red button and it switches over to live coverage of big bro....my social life is seriously about to go down the plughole.....can you tell?? Was up until 1AM watching it the other night when it was Mary's b'day....how sad??

Thats not sad at all , I often stay up till about 4am when the live coverage on C4 finishes , and even then I sometimes watched Punk'd .

So what does this freeview come as , like a box like Sky with a remote?
And do you need a SCART socket for it???

You can use Scart or just the standard conection leads, it's similar to Sky, but there are more makes for it, i've got a cheap Matsui make, the boxes tend to be smaller than Sky ones, as are the remotes, so they look funkier.
