Are you serious ? Charles was sha-**ing Camilla whilst she was married ( with kids) BEFORE he even met and ruined Di’s life .. they continued their sordid affair after he married Di and throughout their sham of a marriage Are you seriously expecting Di to have remained faithful throughout all that !! But my point was I don't think his behavior, especially as it relates to the weaponization of media, occurs in a vacuum. And I wouldn't put that all on Diana, either. Perhaps it is more normal than not in the world of royal. Last edited by Maru; 10-09-2025 at 10:07 AM. |

However, if he sees dealing with the press as a normal way of handling the family business (which may be the case for his family privately if they don't communicate hardly at all?), then media being weaponized is just a natural result... then that makes even more sense why he's fighting this battle in the wrong ways and not the right ones... Pretend TiBB is the media and imagine being Harry stuck here psychologically venting out all his gripes while having to deal with the social restrictions of that kind of forum... and this being the only tangible way to feel he gets anywhere with his anger... Because we know he can't say jack **** to the King's face... I'm sure there's more rules than not for dealing with him specifically and maybe other family members. So he vents at those nearest to him (the King), including the press, (aka moderators), because they're seen as managers of that communication with him indirectly... Just some thoughts. I would hate to be a royal. |

I simply don’t follow your reasoning .. Once Di realised that she was being cheated on by Charles and Camilla then the ‘rules’ change completely . To expect her to have remained faithful to a rampant philanderer is preposterous to my mind … especially when she found out that the affair had been going on for years and they were making a complete fool out of her . I remember reading somewhere that Charles even had Camilla smuggled into the palace the night before their wedding .. I imagine they thought it was hilarious that they could get away with their sordid affair and Di would never even have an inkling as to what was going on … all enabled by the Palace staff . i've never had any time for the royals, i've never had any time for traditional celebrities either. Clearly not all are the same, there is the same range in them as their is in people, but the baseline is at a much lower level.
Most of the problems they have stem from being in a priviledged position in the first place, which just automatically winds me up Last edited by bots; 10-09-2025 at 02:15 PM. |

Again … so you expected her to remain loyal to Charles for the next 40 + years.. presumably sharing the marital bed all whilst Charles is togering Camilla at every given opportunity ? Would you have done that ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great. Charles has met up with the son who plagued his parents' final years. Insulted his brother William and sister in law, broke family confidences, called his family racists, bullied palace staff and whined like a little bitch to anyone who'd listen. Which turned out to be the whole world. He also called Charles' wife The Wicked Stepmother. I hope the reconciliation was... cool.

Also not for anyone to comment on such affairs.
Glad theyve met.
