I rode a motorbike when I was younger, right the way through uni and beyond. I was always legal and was never charged with any crime but I was young, and I was pulled up by the police all the time, it was kind of expected. My brother and his mates were stopped all the time when he was late teens, early twenties. He committed the crime of having a reasonably nice car at a young age. Despite being legal and never being charged with anything at all, he and his mates were brutalised by the police, pulled up, pushed around, slammed up against a wall cutting his head, dragged off to the Big House.... not because of the colour of their skin but because they were young.
