…I’m pretty sure that we’ve had many housemates over time who have given a DR narration of a situation/event/conversation etc that has a ‘mocking’ vibe and that’s not something we call double standards on or expect a warning to be given…Lord, Nikki Graham gave us some iconic moments/that’s surely part of the DR and what we’re familiar with…I know that we often look at similarities in a situation and ‘double standards’ for me can be too easily called because there are often differences as well to be looked at as well as similarities …it’s not a ‘one size fits all…’…I’m not saying that I necessarily agree with the warning George was given because he and Sam had talked it through and he understood how his mocking impacted Sam…so hmmmm, I’m a bit conflicted in my thoughts of whether that warning was necessary…but I guess it was in that BB do have a duty of care to housemates and have to protect themselves in the criticism they receive and have to try to balance it all…….and with Sam/George they were dealing with a mocking of and in view of…and directly leading to and creating of a housemate being visibly very distraught and in that moment, feeling very isolated and many will have experienced similar feelings to Sam in feeling bullied and isolated…?…with Sam’s mocking of Jenny’s accent and Cameron’s deeper voice…?…it was done in the DR with them being completely unaware because all DR narration is private…so there was no impact/upset to them…and it was also I think done as an entertainment value thing…a DR performance, if you like….so yeah, whether we feel about it negatively or not so much/more lightly…?…I think there were differences that have to be considered as well and ‘not one size fits all’ act therefore ‘not one size fits all’ in terms of BB’s actions…if it does impact Sam in a negative way for his DR narration then it’ll impact in terms of voters and how they feel about it and whether they see it as something that would make them feel less positive toward him…

I wonder if a HM can get a warning or ejection for being offensive to BB?

Like if in the DR they said "I'm sick of that fricken N-word cow" would they get ejected?

The other HMs wouldn't hear it and it wouldn't be on the feeds... BB only ever says "offensive to your frllow HMs and the viewing public", after allm

Disagree, tbh.

The rules HAVE to be clear and consistent and evenly applied, or we get subjective rulings made on the feelings of the producers, which ofc will be based on their own biases.

I get in BB that the rules can change, but to warn a HM for a thing and then 2 nights later feature another doing the same thing as a DR clip reeks of hypocrisy.

There is a definite 'it's not what is done that's the problem, it is who does it' to this show now.

The difference is George highlighted that as his least favourite thing about Sam, completely different to the situation where Sam was jokingly reenacting a scenario that had just happened.

Apples and oranges.

Apples and apples, no matter how much you want to paint one orange.

Mocking the mannerisms and voice of another HM is either allowed or it isn't.

Allowing one group to do it while warning another is bullshit tbh.

Well sure, if you stick your fingers in your ears, say "la la la", and ignore the context of the two situations, then sure, you are absolutely right.

Apples and oranges.

It was overacted and mocking to Cameron...who in all honesty would probably find it funny and be able to laugh at himself....unlike Sam. It was hypocritical...

Sam's impressions were hysterical. I laughed so hard. He's a great mimic. Hope we see more.

It was quite funny…just a shame he can’t deal with it when the shoe is on the other foot.

This is the core point ofc.

I would have laughed along happily, because the mimicking in itself was funny, if another HM hadn't been warned about it a couple of days before and if Sam himself had shown any humour regarding it back then.

Warnings are dumb, but supposedly George received multiple, so maybe that means the others have been warned without our knowledge. If BB were found to be warning housemates multiple times a day, it would be embarrassing.

Thumbs down

Warnings have no meaning or merit when the production small team are far left activists infected by a prevalent woke mind virus

The arrogance of these female producers is staggering

as is their myopic wordview

…I agree that the rules have to be clear and consistent and evenly applied etc…I just disagree that they’re two ‘same fit/one size’ evenly applied situations of a narration in the DR and Sam ‘playing the voice part’ if you like, of each housemate that his narration involved….agree/disagree as they say…

No, but where there is victimhood there is social currency and Sam wasn't about to let his chance to earn some in the group go by.

isn't the saying that mimicking is a form of flattery?
