Alright, I couldn't hold off for much longer.

For anyone that cares lol.

I've played enough Games to update my rankings/League.

Some of these Games were fantastic, some were more mixed for me, and there was one particular Game that was an abomination imo, which is a shame as I thought that I would love the Game that I'm placing lower than Observer after experiencing the Game.

In order of preference:

Onee Chanbara Origin - I absolutely adore this Game, and I didn't even know that this Game even existed until a few months ago. It's got to be one of the most fun Games that I have ever played.

I honestly recommend it to anyone that enjoyed Lollipop Chainsaw for example.





Syphon Filter - The level design on this Game is amazing, I know that it's always been in Metal Gear Solid's shadow (which I have got to try a MGS Game eventually) but it firmly needs to be brought into the limelight imo.

Washington Park alone has got to be one of the best levels that I've personally played in a Video Game in awhile.

I'm not normally the biggest Stealth fan that you'll find in the Video Game community, but I like to think that I can appreciate a very good Stealth Game when it comes around, which I honestly think that Syphon Filter is an exceptional Game within the genre.






The Wolf Among Us - The Wolf Among Us is a really interesting Game imo.

It makes me want to read The Fables Comic.

And it's got me in the mood to try more Telltale-esque Games in the future.









Cold Fear - This is a really underrated Survival Horror Game in my view.

- The location was different and interesting.

- The combat was probably one of the closest that I've seen to rival Resident Evil's combat within the genre.

- And we get the classic B-Movie dialogue that older Survival Horror Games loved so much.

Cold Fear made me wish that we had new Survival Horror Games coming out in the same style again.









The Darkness II - I do miss certain features that were in the first Game, but I did still really enjoy the sequel overall.

Again, I want to read the Comics to this series eventually, it's a really fun set of characters to explore.








The Bouncer - The Bouncer was made by Squaresoft (now known as Square Enix) but don't expect it to be exactly like Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts.

According to Wikipedia, The Bouncer's genre tags are Beat Em Up and Action RPG (which is pretty accurate tbh) and it's pretty good at it tbf.

It has some funky dialogue lol, but I do find it charming personally.

The closest Games to compare The Bouncer to from my experience is Crisis Beat, Streets Of Rage, and the Kiryu Games in the Yakuza/Like A Dragon series.
















The Silver Case HD - The story is really interesting imo (something that modern Japanese Anime could learn to be) and I really enjoyed it for what it was.

The reason why it's not higher up my rankings is mainly due to my personal preference for more outrageous or more bold gameplay like loops at the minute.

But the story is really good and as it's a Visual Novel, that is a pretty important thing to be really good at.

















Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories - It's a fun GTA spin-off title I think.

Some of the third districts missions in particular could've done with a slight tweak here or there though imo.

But overall it's a very good Game, with some funny **** in the Game.







FIFA 23 - I'll always have some level of fun with FIFA Games (even the weaker ones in the series) and that's it really.

I would love for them to create some new single player modes though.











Batman: Dark Tomorrow - Now I'm really going to face some heat for this if any die-hard Gamers ever were to catch this thread.

Because I was more mixed on this Game than actually hating it like some people do, although I did despise Ra's Al Ghul's Castle just in it's entirity.

And there were definitely some areas of the Game that could have been finessed a little bit.

But I controversially thought that the handcuff mechanic was original for a Barman Game to have, and did add an extra layer of strategy to the fights.

And I did enjoy the story and the boss fights, and the Arkham Asylum section.

So it weren't all had for me with this Game, I would score it 6/10 overall.










Silent Hill f - Silent Hill f was an okay kind of Game for me, but something did just feel missing.

I'm thinking it's the younger than normal cast for Silent Hill meets the more aggressive combat compared to the older Games that might be putting me off a little bit.

But it's not a horrible Game tbf to the developers of the Game.


















Metroid Prime Remastered - Before I get lynched, I just want to say that I found Metroid Prime a bit on the dull side of Gaming.

It weren't terrible, but it just wasn't particularly exciting me either.

I've played better First-Person Shooters I feel.















Scarlet Nexus - Scarlet Nexus fell foul to my tastes on a few fronts.

- A severely irritating tutorial that was intrusive and went on for awhile.

- The party just weren't interesting imo, they all just felt like stock characters before I quit the Game.

- The Game also felt a bit cheap/had cut corners in some areas, that I think didn't help the experience for me.

I'll give the Game one positive though, and that's the City looked cool.















Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy - The Gameplay was just annoying tbh.

Although some of the humour was alright.





















Mafia: The Old Country - I could honestly rant about this Game for awhile.

1. Why is the Mafia content barely present in a Mafia Game?

2. Who's bright idea was it to have about the first hour of the Game being spent on picking up Crates plus other mundane items?

3. Why there was an entire section of the Game with the two leads riding on horseback taking photographs of random stuff?

4. And why did the lead have to have the personality of a Goldfish? There's hardly anything there for the dude upstairs.

But yeah, it's no Mafia: Definitive Edition that's for certain.
