The "bro code" is a set of informal rules for friendship, primarily focusing on loyalty and respecting boundaries, such as not dating a friend's ex or sister. Key rules include always having a friend's back, being a good wingman, and never revealing private information or getting in the way of a friend's romantic pursuits. Other humorous or serious rules involve respecting a friend's possessions, helping with tasks like moving, and avoiding awkward social situations like fighting over a friend's partner

Like many things I think the bro code has been hijacked to a more extreme degree, even if the original intention was a good one.
Reading that, the only thing which it could be argued Zelah has broken is "always having a friend's back" and I struggle to work out how close he is to Marcus and Tate.
