I mean, yh, we’d all rather be liked but with 7 billion people on Earth, no-one’s going to be everyone’s cup of tea, for a variety of reasons. That’s just how life is. But it’s good for people to afford you a basic level of respect for and acknowledgement of your dignity, humanity and validity of certain opinions anyway, unless they give you a reason not to.
