Just after 11ish just as i drifted off to sleep i woke up with the wardrobe next to us and the bed shaking but cos i was in that in between awake and asleep i thought i imagined it and i asked my wife if she felt it but she had been fast asleep so hadnt felt it. I got up to check the kids non of them got woken up so yeah thought I imagined it. Turns out it actually had been an earthquake!! Surely those tend to happen in the summer with warmer conditions even then rare in the uk. How strange

They’re such an odd thing to experience, aren’t they. I felt my first one in Tokyo as I was waiting for a lift. It made my stomach do knots (like I was on a boat).
