BBC News Text:
[Visitors to the US may have to disclose their
social media activity from the past five years
in order to enter the country,
according to the Guardian.
The paper reports that the Trump administration
intends to apply the new mandates to the
42 countries whose nationals can
enter the US without a visa - which includes the UK.]

No allowances or compromises, people should stand up for their own right to privacy on this particular issue.

Anything you put on social media is in the public domain. Anyone can look at it. Can't see what's so terrible about this, but then, I have no social media presence because I think it's toxic. Maybe it could make some people think twice before they spout nonsense... who knows.
