AFP Commissioner Krissy Barrett has faced criticism for saying the Bondi Beach terrorist
attack was “not motivated by religion” amid concerns that authorities have overlooked
extremist motivations.



Krissy Barrett is the AFP commissioner. Despite video of the Bondi shooters
reciting the Quran on video and reading out their intentions, their affiliation
with the "Islamic" State, the fact that one of the shooters was actively
involved in "dawah" or Islamic evangelism, and the fact that both were
radical muslims....

She has declared the shooting had nothing to do with religion.

Australian security agencies and police appear to be completely unwilling to
confront the root cause that is Islamic terrorism. The commissioner should
also resign.

Security is there because of specific threats from a tiny number of extremists. Not because people are different.

We had soldiers on the streets during the Troubles. Airports have been locked down for decades. This is not new.

Same culture does not mean safe either. The US has mass shootings constantly. That idea collapses fast.

Blaming diversity is easy. Thinking it through obviously takes more effort.

Foreign born mass shooters in American make up 9% of all mass shooters, despite the immigration population of America being about 13% of the population, meaning immigrants are underrepresented when it comes to being mass shooters.
