Players…
You think you understand this game.
You think you’ve been here before.
You haven’t.
Because this series is different.
This time, the worlds of The Traitors and Strictly have collided.
And when two realities merge… the rules fracture.
You may have noticed something unsettling already.
I am not watching from the shadows this time.
I am inside the game.
I will not be competing as you do.
I am The Guardian.
And under my watch, three of you will be chosen…
quietly…
deliberately…
To become The Saboteurs.
They will walk among you.
Score beside you.
Smile with you.
And yet—
they will play by different rules.
The Saboteurs will not know one another.
They will not know which celebrity the others are playing.
They will not know who any TIBB player is.
Anonymity is absolute.
Trust is an illusion.
Most of you will score as you always have:
from 15 to 1.
Fifteen… your favourite.
One… your least.
But the Saboteurs?
They deal in imbalance.
Their scores will range from 10…
down to 1…
and then further still…
into the negatives.
Yes.
They can take away.
And you will never know who is doing it.
As for me?
I do not score like you either.
Each show, I will quietly select my top five song choices—
scoring them from 5 to 1—
before I see a single vote from anyone else.
Hand on heart, I swear this:
I will not interfere.
I will not protect favourites.
I will not play kingmaker.
I admire you all.
My judgement will be cold.
And fair.
When the game is over, everything will be revealed.
Every score.
Including my own.
(Unless any of you choose otherwise.)
But until then…
the truth remains buried.
Each show, once all song choices are locked in, I will spin the wheel.
A wheel marked 16 to 1
—shrinking week by week as players fall.
Where it lands… decides fate.
The player who finishes in that position will receive a Shield.
They will be safe the following week.
But secrecy remains sacred.
No one may reveal themselves.
I will announce which celebrity holds the Shield—
never the player behind them.
The number chosen by the wheel will be revealed before any scores are cast.
So know this:
I cannot fix it.
Even if I wanted to.
If a Saboteur is eliminated, another will be recruited.
Quietly.
Relentlessly.
But once we reach the Top 8…
the doors close.
No more recruits.
At the quarter-finals, identities will be revealed which player was playing as each celebrity as usual but you will not learn if they were playing as a sabouteur or not!
And here is the final truth you should fear most:
If a Saboteur reaches the Top 2…
they win.
Regardless of the votes.
Regardless of the scores.
Regardless of how much you trusted them.
Question everything.
Because in this game…
nothing is as it seems.
