I've always thought this particular bill does NOT have the basic, never mind essentially vital safeguards to protect more vulnerable.
It has been watered down too as to what was said at the start was really important as to safeguards.

This bill is not one I could ever support and on this I'm really glad the House of Lords are really analysing it and exposing the very big security problems with it.

They have the right to do that, it's a backbenchers private member's bill NOT a government bill, which has passed House of Commons votes but with decreasing majorities.
So that Observer front page is really pathetic in my opinion.
I'm definitely more with the House of Lords on this very sensitive, worrying and important issue.
