Not knowing how much Epstein's personal wealth was, I Googled it yesterday and I was shocked how low he was on the list of the richest people in the world.

Epstein only had a fortune of Ł450million. That's peanuts when you think Paul McCartney has well over A BILLION, and other actors and celebs and business people have weath exceeding billions. Our own Lord Sugar has Ł2.7 billion.

I was thinking Epstein was worth something like $24BILLION they way they talked about him. His weath was actually chicken feed compared to others.

So it really wasn't about the wealth. More about the perversion and filth he peddled.

Former prince discussed with Jeffrey Epstein ways to get round investment rules



Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor discussed ways round restrictions on his making investments while a UK trade representative and shared official documents from the role with Jeffrey Epstein, files released by the US Department of Justice show.

Mountbatten-Windsor also sought to make representations on Epstein’s behalf to the then Emir of Qatar when the Gulf ruler was on a state visit to the UK, according to the files, released as part of the justice department’s investigation into the convicted sex offender.

The files raise wider questions about Mountbatten-Windsor’s conduct at the same time as new allegations have emerged about his behaviour towards women. Thames Valley Police on Tuesday said it was looking into reports that a woman claimed to have been trafficked to the UK in 2010 to have sex with the former prince.

The woman’s claims were reported by the BBC and made by Brad Edwards, a US lawyer representing the anonymous woman. Previously, Virginia Giuffre, a victim of Epstein who died by suicide last year, had said she was brought to London for sex with the then prince when she was 17.

Thames Valley Police said it was “aware” of reports about a woman said to have been taken to “an address in Windsor in 2010 for sexual purposes”.

“We are assessing the information in line with our established procedures,” the force said.

Epstein was found dead in a New York jail cell while awaiting trial on sexual abuse charges in 2019.

Mountbatten-Windsor was a special representative for UK trade and investment between 2001 and 2011, an unpaid role in which he attracted repeated controversy. The files make it clear that he believed himself barred while in that position from making personal business investments or taking seats on company boards.

However, the files show he discussed with Epstein ways that he could circumvent the restrictions.

…hmmmm, I’m not sure about momentum and whether it’ll grow…I feel a bit conspiracy theory regarding this and feel that the public interest has been and are being ‘thrown enough of a bone’ to distract and engage from the ‘unrevealed’….

I remember at the time of his appointment there were rumblings from the security services that were played down. The suggestion that he was not the man for the role came from several different directions, as I recall.
