I am a little like Dan and can not function on less than 6 hours, but I prefer at least 8 hours or I am a little grumpy.

Normally during the week it's about 5/6 hours but I know I need alot more. At weekends, I try to get 8/9 hours to make up for it though.

I set myself a news years resolution to go to bed early this year. So far I have failed, miserably.
I hate sleep, so utterly pointless.

About 8 - 10 hours per night usually, past couple of nights it's been between 4 and 5 hours cos my bloke's been on lates all week and we've been staying up until 2 in the morning, then I've had to be up to get my daughter ready for Nursery and my alarm goes off at 6.45 in the morning.

I have real bad sleeping patterns. school nights i go to bed about 11pm but can never fall asleep until about 12am i always get distracted by looking around my bedroom, and say if i see a book or something i'll start to fidget with it. and then i need to go and get a drink, then try and get some sleep and for some reason every night i get up in the middle of the night and check that i've packed my bag correctly for school. in the morning i hate getting up, i find it so hard!, especially school days. I would love to have a normal's night sleep, so people who can actually have that, don't take it for granted.

I love sleep. When I've got 6th form or work the next morning then I usually get around 7-8 hours and then have a 'power nap' once I'm home.

On weekends I get around 10 whether I've been out the night before or not. If I've been drinking the night before then I'll always wake up early, but it takes no longer than 5 minutes to get back asleep.

When I'm tired I'm in a fowl mood too.
